Privacy policy
Last updated 7 November 2026
[business name not set yet] ("we") run SakhaCare. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It covers two groups of people: our clients (the businesses that sign up and their staff) and callers (people who call a client's support number).
What we collect
- Clients: name, email, mobile number, company name, username and password (stored only in scrambled, hashed form); business documents for telecom KYC (registration and GST certificates, registered address); records of payments. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we never see them.
- Callers: the phone number they call from, a recording and written transcript of the call, and the ticket details, including any name they give. Clients may also upload a list of their own customers so Priya can recognise them.
Why we use it
To answer calls and raise tickets; to email and alert the client's team; to show the client their call history; to get a support number under telecom rules; for billing; to keep the service secure and prevent misuse; and to fix and improve SakhaCare. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Who helps us
These companies process data for us, only to run SakhaCare:
- Plivo: telephone carrier (calls, and the KYC documents for numbers)
- Sarvam AI: turns callers' speech into text and Priya's replies into speech
- Anthropic: the AI model that writes Priya's replies
- Microsoft Azure: our servers and email
- Razorpay: payments
- Google: only when a client connects their own Google Sheet
Some of them may process data outside India.
Callers' data belongs to our client
When you call a business that uses SakhaCare, that business decides what is collected and why, and we process it on their behalf. To ask about your call, contact the business you called. We will help them answer you.
How long we keep it
Call recordings, transcripts and tickets are kept while the client's account is open, and deleted within 90 days after it closes, or earlier if the client asks. KYC documents and payment records are kept as long as telecom and tax laws require.
How we protect it
All pages use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed. Each client's data is kept in its own separate database, and only that client and our staff can open it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Email [support email not set yet]; we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
We use one cookie, to keep you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies. Pages load a font from Google Fonts, and the payment page loads Razorpay's checkout.
Children
SakhaCare is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
