Why a new number needs them, which ones, and what if they are rejected.

India's telecom rules say every business phone number must belong to a verified business. So for a new SakhaCare number we file your documents with our phone network partner. If you keep your own number, no documents are needed.

What you upload

  1. A registration certificate: your Udyam (MSME) certificate, or for a company or LLP the Certificate of Incorporation. You type its number too (for example UDYAM-HR-03-0012345).
  2. Your GST certificate (Form GST REG-06) and GSTIN.
  3. Your registered address, exactly as on the documents, with state and PIN code.

PDF, JPG or PNG files, up to 5 MB each. We check the numbers, the GSTIN and the PIN before sending, so simple typing mistakes are caught at once.

How long it takes

Usually a few minutes; sometimes a few hours. You get an email either way.

If they are rejected

The setup page shows the reason (for example, the address does not match the certificate). Correct it and send again. A rejection does not stop you trying again. No GST registration? Then keep your own number for now.
